Real Paint. Real Life. Unreal Art.

Michael Rosner is an American artist born in Chicago, Illinois. After attending Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia in 1996 he relocated to Sacramento, California and worked as a painter, sculptor and carpenter before beginning the series of body paintings in 2006.

Eye Level Studio, founded by Rosner in 2001, is what he calls a 'collective of talented artists' which has grown to include an elite group of the industries top professional photographers, stylists, make up artists and models who have become the creative force that has helped to realize Rosner's unique vision of body painting. In addition to live models, Rosner is known for painting on 'unconventional' surfaces including elaborate paintings on real leaves with hand selected species collected each fall throughout California.

His work has been been far reaching and has shown nationally in galleries in Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco and Sacramento and internationally in Austria and Germany. Rosner's work is known for his complex layered style along with his distinctive visual influences that combine architecture and sacred geometry juxtaposed with either human anatomy or the anatomy of objects found in nature.

Rosner's work was recently published in Sacramento Magazine and in 2001, Airbrush Action magazine declared him, "One of the best up and coming artists." and said he is "...one to watch." Rosner continues to produce art from his studio in Sacramento, California.

Your body painting is mind blowing!:iconstunnedplz: It looks like Giger's work painted on human flesh. A truly miraculous monument of talent you have!

Incredible gallery! Even though most of your works seem to be inspired by mythology and history, there is an industrial/cyberpunk feel to some of them, which I really like!
And the combination of geometric and organic forms reminds of H.R. Giger's works (but still the style is unique).
