Kuini Papatuanuku II by ~eyelevelstudio is a tribute to a Maori creation myth, where Papatuanuku is a mother earth figure, considered to be the source of all things. Using astounding body art, ~eyelevelstudio manages to do full justice to the myth.

Description
Body Paint on model, not PhotoShop
Real Paint. Real Model. Unreal Art.
The tribute to Papatūānuku, who originated in Māori mythology, is inspired by feminine half of the primal couple Rangi and Papatuanuku who appear in a creation myth explaining the origin of the world. In many Māori creation traditions, Papatūānuku emerged from under water. She represents a mother earth figure that gives birth to all things of the world and imparts many blessings to her children. She is seen as the birthplace of all things and the place to which they return.
